About Us
Welcome! We’re so glad you’re here! As a family of 8, we moved from the north to the south to live abundantly and pursue God’s will for our lives. We are aspiring homesteaders, long-time educators, and experienced business leaders and creatives pursuing sustainability for an abundant life and sustainable future. We know how hard it is to start and be in the beginning years of building a homestead with few homesteading skills, and as a homeschooling family on one income. And we know how especially hard it is when you move somewhere new and don’t have much of a community quite yet…
We are not your average homesteaders. From being modern millennials (a pro musician/teacher married to a Biz MGMT pro) that couldn’t even keep houseplants alive and didn’t know how to cook… to being homesteaders, gardeners, livestock owners, from scratch cooks, all while raising and homeschooling 6 vivacious children. We currently steward a small farmstead to provide fresh eggs, healthy chickens (for your own fresh eggs), and more, to our local community. Also, we create tools and resources that are simple, delightful, and sustainable to help people get started, or continue, on their adventure.
We are here to inspire you to live abundantly through homesteading, homeschooling, and sustainability. We believe in stewarding God’s creation well, creating lasting abundance, and sustainable stewardship of our land and lives. And it all can be simple, delightful, and sustainable. Whether you are beginning homesteading, homeschooling, or working on your home business, we want to help you build up all things home with diligence and delight so that you can live abundantly, too. It can be hard to do it alone, so let’s do this together!
What We Believe
Welcome to our home! I’m Priscilla, and he’s Tony. We identify first, as God’s children, saved by the blood of Jesus. Everything else is not who we are, but what we do. And we believe we all were created to glorify God in everything we do. You can read more about us and our story below.
We believe…
God is our ultimate sustenance. Even though community sustainability is a goal, we know that God is our Provider and Protector. All good things come from Him, and He gave us this earth and all that was in it. We are all called to steward God’s creation well.
We believe…
in stewarding our bodies by eating REAL, God-given food. Home grown, from scratch, home-raised, pasture-raised, organic food. We believe in supporting our bodies with healthy, nutrient dense God-given foods like pasture-raised meats and bone broths, raw dairy, fresh eggs, root vegetables, raw honey, herbs, and more.
The Holy Spirit warned us, in 1 Timothy chapter 4:3-5, of those who would be “…commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.”
We encourage you to read this passage in full context.
We believe…
in working with discipline, diligence, and delight. It may be simple, but it is hard work. It requires discipline to keep going. Diligence is having an eye for excellence and continually improving in everything we do. We believe in doing everything with diligence and delight because when we do, everything we do is transformed into an act of worship.
“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.” Colossians 3:23-24
We believe…
God has created beauty in everything, and that He gives gifts and talents to people to bring more beauty to glorify Him.
OUR STORY
After the events of 2020, we saw the vital need to learn to grow and raise our own food, continue homeschooling all of our children, and keep building up our home founded on godly principles. We felt God had a new call and season for us. So in 2021, we left everything behind, and moved from northwest Indiana to southern Georgia. And we just got started!
We are not your average homesteaders. We went from modern millennials (a pro musician/teacher married to a Biz MGMT pro) that couldn’t keep houseplants alive and didn’t know how to cook… to being homesteaders, gardeners, livestock owners, from scratch cooks, all while raising and homeschooling 6 vivacious children. After a couple years of just getting started, we started a small farmstead business selling eggs and chickens, and now we have expanded to digital products and resources to our online community.
And we want to help others do the same, no matter what their skill set is. Building up all things home will allow us to sustain our families no matter what the future holds.

Path to Build Community Sustainability
Awaken
to the purpose. We need to know WHY we are doing something to stay passionate and disciplined, and to be able to endure and overcome challenges. Awakening takes us from lost or overwhelmed to purpose!
Cultivate
each area. To build in an area, we need to plan, learn, and actually get started! Ideas, hopes, and dreams are just that… they remain ideas, hopes, and dreams until you get started and start LIVING it! Cultivating takes us from dreaming to LIVING!
Sustain
what we build. To live abundantly and sustainably, we must continue to grow in each area as well as maintain it. This is what helps us move into abundance that is healthy and fruitful. Sustaining takes us from living to thriving!
Contribute
to our communities. Once we establish what we are building to provide for our families, we can continue to grow and begin to reach out to be generous to our communities. Contributing goes beyond our inward goals and moves outward to help sustain our communities. Contributing takes us from thriving to giving!
Hi, I’m Priscilla! I have a B.S. in Music Theory & Composition as well as a background in Music, Drama, & Dance Performance, Music & Music Education, Worship Ministry & Training, Ministry Leading, and Customer Service & Management.
I love chocolate, coffee, bath bombs, and cozy candles. Crackling fires, relaxing in the pool, and going downtown. I love almost all things creative. But, I have also fallen in love with so many unexpected things…
I love starting seeds and watching them grow, nurturing gardens, cooking from scratch, raising chickens, real food, and prepping for the future. Slow mornings, being with my family, being outside in the fresh air and sun most months of the year…
I love hang drying clothes, colorful eggs on my counter, beautiful tree lines, fresh baked goods… crafting my own cleaners, making recipes my own for my large family, and bringing my kids alongside me to learn it ALL.
Hey, this is Tony. I have a B.S. in Business Management, with many years of customer service and management experience under my belt, and I still work full-time to provide for my family while helping build up the farmstead.
I love to grill and smoke meals for my family. Making s’mores with my family on a summer night always makes for good memories. Whether it’s fishing with my oldest, working in the yard with my family, devouring snowcones, or just spending the day at an amusement park, spending time outdoors is relaxing and enjoyable to me.
A few other things I enjoy are watching sports, shooting at the firing range, and mowing the lawn.
Something I never knew I would enjoy is Beekeeping. Jumping into it head first, reading, and taking classes has increased my awe of God’s creation. How the hive works is so interesting and intricate. The big reward will be the sweet honey!
