This sweet and creamy protein-filled oatmeal recipe for large families is sure to be a crowd pleaser that keeps your family fuller for longer! We give two options for protein, and variations for this recipe. Enjoy!

Instructions
Put all the ingredients into a large pot and heat it to a low to medium boil.
Once it begins to boil, lower the heat and let it simmer until it is cooked to your desired consistency and texture. Approximately 8-10 minutes. (It is cooked well when the liquid is absorbed into the oatmeal and the oatmeal looks fluffy with a creamy texture.)
Turn off the heat and serve immediately into bowls.
Optional: Top oatmeal with each person's choice of toppings!
Notes
-Remember that soaking oats overnight beforehand is optional. And if you do soak them, you may need less liquid than the recipe states. Start with a little less and add as needed to reach your desired consistency. -Toppings are optional. This oatmeal tastes great how it is!-You can use only milk or water as the liquid. Just make sure your ratio of liquid to oats is 2:1. (For example, 6 cups of liquid to 3 cups of oats.Substitutes:-scoops of protein powder or collagen can replace eggs-any milk choice will work, but you may need to adjust to less liquid for thinner milks-rolled oats or old-fashioned work best, but any will do-you can substitute or adjust any of the sweeteners or combination of sweeteners in this recipe to your taste
